Fit Training

"Shock your body" with this one hour strength & conditioning class that is geared to the athlete ready to take it to the next level! Class will be held both in and out of doors! You will experience the feeling of accomplishment and a sense of empowerment. One on one attention in this small class format will allow your workout to be customized to your level and to your goals! Class is lead by Beth Civiello, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Beth gives each participant the personal push they need to slide past "comfortable" and find a new "uncomfortable". FIT Training...your next fitness goal

Program Design

Personal Trainers are always available to help you reach your goals

Following the Health/Fitness Profile, a trainer will design your exercise program taking into consideration your fitness level, activity preferences, personal goals, and medical limitations, where applicable. Your re-evaluation will take place 2-3 months after your initial evaluation at which time your program will be updated to promote further progress. Speed, Strength & Agility Training

Presented by TS Performance Training and held at the Hampshire Dome, this summer offering will focus on developing athletes ages 8-15. Young athletes will be taught proper running form and will develop core strength, stability and neural coordination to yield increased speed and reduce risk of injury.

Individual and small group training sessions are available at various times on many days. Pricing is determined by number of participants in each group. Contact Tom Labonville directly at tlabonville@tsperformancetraining.com.

Fitness Center/Free Weights

Hampshire Hills state-of-the-art Fitness Center and Free Weight room feature the finest in Nautilus, weight trainingCybex and free weight equipment available. All members receive a free consultation and fitness evaluation with a certified fitness instructor to develop a strength training and cardiovascular program to suit individual needs and goals. Instructors are available during fitness center hours Monday - Friday 5:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. to answer your questions and help you with the equipment.

Fitness Assessment

We want you to become a healthier person, but in order to do that we need to know your initial level of health and fitness. This provides a benchmark to compare against as you become stronger and healthier. All members are encouraged to participate in this free Fitness Assessment. The Fitness Assessment Profile consists of:

  • Medical History/Activity level profile
  • Musculoskeletal Evaluation
  • Resting Health Rate/Blood Pressure
  • Coronary Risk Analysis Height/Weight
  • Cardiovascular Evaluation
  • Body Composition

Senior Programs

Forever Fit is designed to provide a lifestyle of fun and fitness for adults aged 50+.

We offer a committed and highly trained staff, state -of-the-art equipment and a facility that lends itself to a variety of exercise, social, educational and fun opportunities. Research has shown that the benefits of exercise and social interaction for the older adult are many. Forever Fit includes classes such as low impact aerobics, strength training, pilates, stability ball and step aerobics.

Also available is fitness center equipment instruction, wallyball and seasonal events. You can be healthier, look and feel better, have fun and make friends at Hampshire Hills.

This program is free to members. Non-members may participate for a fee.

Nutrition & On-Line Meal Planning

Every great fitness routine and/or exercise plan should be combined with proper nutrition to balance individual nutrition needs. We now have the ability to offer our members on line meal planning! Nutritious Living helps users to journal and plan their own personal nutrition. Our system shows users how to correct deficiencies in their meal plans. This tool will also make suggestions using your favorite foods. "A" report card meal plans are also accessible for any user's perusal.

Any fitness staff personal can easily set you up with activation codes and you can begin planning immediately! Our trained staff will be happy to counsel you on Nutritious Living. Just stop by the fitness center and ask for help!
