At Hampshire Hills we are always looking for ways to improve our physical and mental health well-being. Mind & body classes offer means to relaxation and body flexibility.

Our Yoga teachings are based on understanding the healthy functioning of the body & mind. Our Pilates Personal Trainers can help you get a jump start on Pilates or take your current Pilates practice to a new level.

Yoga
Physical postures designed to purify the body and provide strength. You’re safely guided through modified techniques.

Restorative poses to quiet your mind, calm the nervous system and open and release tight areas.

Pilates Reformer Training

The Pilates Reformer is the ultimate for both men and women. You can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Utilitzing spring resistance, a moveable carraige and pulley system, the Reformer facilitates core development as well as strength, flexibility and endurance throughout the entire body. Some prior mat training is recommended to maximize your reformer experience.

Reformer I: Learn the basics of operating the reformer and the first layer of exercises.

Reformer II: More challenging exercises for continued development in strength, endurance and control.

Reformer Intermediate: Add intermediate exercises for continued development in strength, coordination and control.

Small group reformer classes - 4 week sessions
Limited to four participants - Preregistration required

Pilates Personal Training

Hampshire Hills Pilates Personal Trainers can help you get a jump start on Pilates or take your current Pilates practice to a new level. Personal Training sessions are the perfect answer for the busy participant who finds it difficult to fit group classes into their schedule or has a special need. Private and semi-private personal training sessions are available for both matwork and the Reformer.

Pilates Mat Classes

Pilates Fundamentals
Introduces the five basic principles of Pilates which are incorporated into all of the Pilates exercises.

Pilates I
Teaches the first layer of mat exercises reinforcing the five basic principles of Pilates. Emphasis is on precision and control.

Pilates II
Continues to build on strength and endurance by layering additional essential exercises into the workout.

Pilates Power I
Increase the challenge of endurance and strength in this faster paced version of Pilates I.

Pilates Power II
Intermediate level exercises are added to the power and pace to further challenge coordination, technique and endurance.

Spin Pilates
A combination class that begins with a 40 minute Spin class followed by 30 minutes of Pilates mat work. Preregistration required.

Yogilates
A blend of Pilates core training with yoga poses. An intermediate level class.

All Pilates/Yoga mat classes are for MEMBERS ONLY.
